[Cortina-list] Poor Brits..

Hello John

For the front brakes, how about using 283x22 vented front discs from a 1992-2000 Citroen Xantia 2.0 16v? They have nearly the same offset as the Cortina GT discs.
Maybe difficult to find them in the US...

Regards

...said rear rotors being upper-line Raybestos that Amazon had priced at $6 each.  I've got Prime, so they were on my door two days later, total $12 and change.

Wonder of wonders the box had 'MADE IN USA' printed on it.

The price appears to have been an error, the next day the price had gone to $24.

Yeah, I'll need 15in wheels to clear this and the fronts...the only part of the brakes that actually cost money are the Cosworth Sierra front rotors from EBC.

$100 each shipped for the front rotors, $6 each shipped for the rears. Averages out to something reasonable.

Waiting for a PnP half-price day to pick up some $10 Contour/Mystique front caliper cores to rebuild...

John.
